Join us in Almaty on 16 February for a Chicago Booth Executive MBA Masterclass with Professor Haresh Sapra on 'Accounting standards: Principles-based versus rules-based'.

Professor Sapra will share his current research on accounting standards. He will discuss the economic trade-offs between principles-based versus rules-based standards and how optimal standards should be designed.

The event will include a short presentation on Chicago Booth's top-ranked, global Executive MBA Program in London, with welcome remarks from Mr. Galimzhan Yessenov, '18, Chairman of the Board of Directors, ATF Bank JSC. You'll hear Mr. Yessenov talk about his Chicago Booth experience and how the MBA has influenced his career. In addition you can expect to learn more about the school and the Executive MBA, whilst networking with locally based students, alumni and admissions staff.
