Professor Steven Neil KaplanJoin us on 12 February to hear from Steven Neil Kaplan, the Neubauer Family Distinguished Service Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance and Kessenich E.P. Faculty Director at the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Chicago Booth. Professor Kaplan will be the Rothman Faculty in Residence for Winter Quarter 2025 and is a renowned researcher in the field of private equity, venture capital, entrepreneurial finance, corporate governance, and corporate finance.

Professor Kaplan will discuss the performance of private equity, examining actual impact at both the company and the investor level. He will also examine the current state of the private equity market and share his projections for the future. 
 
A Fortune Magazine article referred to Professor Kaplan as "probably the foremost private equity scholar in the galaxy.”
