The course analyzes the major financial decisions made by corporate management. These include the firm's choice of investments (capital budgeting or project valuation), financing (capital structure or debt/equity decision), and dividend policy, as well as other issues such as mergers and acquisitions. The importance of market imperfections such as taxes, incentive problems, and information costs is examined.
