Join us for an exclusive private dinner in Paris with alumni and prospective students hosted by Haresh Sapra, Leon Carroll Marshall Professor of Accounting.
 
During dinner Professor Sapra will present his latest research on The Pitfalls of Transparency – Can Accounting Numbers Undermine Financial Stability? He’ll discuss whether the  way accounting numbers are designed undermines their use in the regulation of banks, and explain how providing transparent information to shareholders can create misleading information for those interested in stability. 
 
Professor Haresh Sapra has won numerous teaching awards at Booth. He has been named one of the top-ranked professors in BusinessWeek's Guide to the Top Business Schools, and is one of the most popular faculty on our Executive MBA program. 

This free of charge event is an excellent opportunity to connect with our Chicago Booth community in Paris and hear some of our latest research.
