Thank you for your interest in being an Admissions Committee member for Chicago Booth's Evening MBA and Weekend MBA programs. Members of the Admissions Committee, or AdCom for short, play an essential role in shaping Booth's Evening MBA and Weekend MBA classes. They will be expected to participate in admissions interviews each quarter from January 2023 through December 2023. Interviews will be conducted virtually and in-person. They are also expected to be a resource for admitted students. Additional details on both aspects of the role are included below. General Expectations
Interviews
Admitted Students
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Admissions Committee, please email us at eveningweekend-admissions@chicagobooth.edu.
Admissions Committee members will be asked to participate in admissions interviews each quarter from January 2023 through December 2023. If you are graduating during this time, you may still apply and remain an Admissions Committee member as an alum. In terms of requirements to participate, currently:
Interviews will be offered in-person and virtually – the admissions team will assist in coordinating in-person interviews, while virtual interviews are scheduled between you and the candidate. You will receive confirmation from Admissions with all necessary information.
In-person interviews take place M-F evenings and select Saturdays at Gleacher Center.
As a part of the Admissions Committee, you will play an important part in yielding students. You'll connect with and reach out to prospective students and admits via email to discuss your experience in the program, typically related to a shared academic and/or professional background/goals.
For current students, you must be in "active student" status to participate. If you go on "inactive student" status, you can resume your participation once you are enrolled in courses.
