Behavioral economics applies psychological insights to economic markets and decision making. Being thoughtful about the role of psychology can lead to a greater understanding of how the economy works. In his research, Professor Devin Pope studies a variety of topics at the intersection of these two disciplines, primarily using observational data to see how psychological biases play out in field settings and economic markets. This MBA Masterclass will give an introduction to behavioral economics and share recent examples of how behavioral economics helps us understand how markets work. Join this session to learn more about the recent theoretical and empirical advances in this increasingly important field of economics.
