Come and learn more about the Executive MBA Program and the Singapore campus at our Information Sessions in various Asian cities.

You can meet our staff, current students and alumni for refreshments and discussion about the Executive MBA Program Asia.

The session will feature a short presentation and question-and-answer session. In addition our faculty member, Professor Michael Gibbs, the Professor of Economics and Faculty Director will give a lecture together with the information session in Bangkok.

Professor Gibbs will talk about “People as real options”. Firms innovate by investing in uncertain projects, taking chances on new ideas, and sorting through them to find those with the highest upside-potential. In this talk, Professor Gibbs outlines how the same logic can be applied to employees. Firms can structure hiring, jobs, decision making and incentives to improve the upside potential from investing in their people. These techniques are used by firms that want to emphasize creativity.

Professor Gibbs will also describe how you can view yourself as a "real option" which has implications on how you approach a job interview and how you can manage your career plans more effectively.
