INTERACTING WITH PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS

Connecting with alumni is one of the most important ways in which students gain insight into the impact of the Booth MBA. Volunteer opportunities range from small, interactive gatherings, to joining us at Admissions events as a panelist or speaker. Most engagements will be approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. We will contact you with opportunities that might be of interest to you based on your responses below.

ALUMNI INTERVIEWER

Alumni interviewers play an important role in the admissions process and serve as our greatest ambassadors. Alumni interviewers are meant to lead friendly and open conversations with applicants and offer a meaningful touchpoint that - regardless of the admissions outcome - will leave the applicant with a positive impression of the Booth community. Your participation would include conducting 45-60 minute interviews with potential candidates and submitting completed interview evaluation reports.

If you are interested in becoming an alumni interviewer, please indicate your availability below and the maximum number of interviews you would like to conduct per round. We will reach out to you prior to each round and reconfirm your availability.

Please note the following:

Not all alumni volunteers who register will be matched for an interview, as we may have a higher number of alumni volunteers compared to applicants selected to interview.
If matched with an applicant, you will be emailed logistical information regarding how to schedule the interview, as well as helpful resources that explain the structure and importance of the interview.
While we will try to match you with candidates in your local area, you may be matched with candidates in other cities within your time zone.

Certification of Non-Conflict of Interest

As a Chicago Booth alumni interviewer, I certify that I am not engaged in any activity related to MBA admissions advising for which I am paid or receive any other form of compensation. I further acknowledge that my participation as a Chicago Booth alumni interviewer does not pose any conflict of interest because I am not an MBA consultant, I do not collaborate with MBA consultants, groups, or agents, and I do not intend to utilize my access to Chicago Booth events or materials as a means to do MBA consulting work or collaborate with MBA consultants, groups or agents. I also certify that if I professionally or personally know an applicant, I will promptly notify the Full-Time MBA Admissions Office and will not proceed to interview that applicant.
